What's Stopping Us?

What's stopping us from doing what we really want to do?  I'm sure none of us growing up said we wanted to be what we are today (unless of course you are an astronaut, lawyer, athlete, or fireman - then I applaud you for your persistence in following your dream).  But for the 99% of us, the 9 to 5 office grind makes you  re-evaluate everything.  But what stops us from liquidating our 401K / savings and moving down to the Cayman Islands to rent snorkeling gear?  Money?  Family?  Fear?

If money were no object and you were not restricted by anything else:

- What would you do?
- Where would you live?

Half of the problem is knowing what is it exactly that you want to do. Figuring out your real dream..
Often I end up wanting to do too many things at once - I wish I had that one solid dream. I wish I 'll wake up one day and will know exactly who I want to be when i grow up..;)
It would be great to be an archeologist, or paleontologist. Or perhaps a veterinarian or a writer and travel to remote, wild and unexplored places. Or maybe have a non profit and change the world.. :)

My "dream job" would be to own a Bed & Breakfast in an exotic place (Hawaii, Costa Rica, etc) - I enjoy cooking for people, I like suggesting places/things for people to go/do, and I'd love to run adventure tours for my guests.

I'm slowly getting there - I have an idea of what I want to do, I just need to research the process and pick the right location.
